Five splicing methods for aluminum-plastic panels

1.Original edge stitching

The first method is to seamlessly join the original edges of aluminum-plastic panels. Easy operation and fast construction.

2.Fold small edges for splicing

The second method is to fold the small edges and splice them together. The joint between the two boards is slotted separately, and the small edges are folded to make the joint more beautiful. The joint will not expand or shrink due to temperature changes in the four seasons, which may cause cracks, but the construction is slow.

3.Front slot splicing

The third type is front slot splicing, where the two boards at the splicing point are each half the width of the slot. It has a sense of style, but the construction is slow.

4.Folding and splicing

The fourth method, folding and splicing, is the dry hanging process of aluminum-plastic panels, which must use the folding and splicing method. Finally, on the back of the folding and splicing, the folding and splicing are locked together on the steel pipe with screws. The longest durability and slowest construction.

5.Irregular splicing

The fifth type is alien splicing.

Principle of Carving File Production: Taking the use of 4mm thick aluminum-plastic panels and 8mm round or V-knife slotting as an example. Assuming the steel frame size is 60 * 120cm * 3cm thick and the steel frame thickness is 3cm, the inner side of the folded edge is 3cm. Since the diameter of the knife is 8mm, the outer side of the folded edge is 3.4cm.

After slotting and folding the back, the inner diameter must be larger than the size of the steel frame in order to wrap around it. Assuming that the inner diameter is 4mm larger than the steel frame, the folded inner diameter is 60.4 * 120.4cm. Adding the inner dimension of the folded edge of 3cm * 2+groove width of 8mm * 2, the unfolded size of the front board is (60.4+3 * 2+0.8 * 2) x (120.4+3 * 2+0.8 * 2), which is 68 * 128cm.

After carving is completed:

Weld the steel frame as shown in the picture, using 3 * 3cm square tubes with an outer diameter of 60 * 120cm. Arc shaped joints do not require welding of the steel frame, and wooden keels can be fixed on the side of the square tube to ensure support on the back of the joint.

After slotting with an 8mm knife, as shown in the following figure:
