Practical operation card for slotting and bending metal composite plates step by step (for direct comparison on site)

1.Identify the positive and negative aspects (do not make mistakes in the first step)

Only slots can be made on the back, and decorative surfaces with patterns and film covering on the front must not be opened; The reverse side is a pure aluminum surface, specifically designed for slotting.

2、 Slot groove style

Open a 90 ° flat bottomed V-groove, do not open a pointed bottomed V-groove.

A thin layer of plastic and front aluminum sheet should be left at the bottom of the groove to prevent easy cracking or paint peeling.

3、 Standard slot size for 4mm aluminum-plastic panel

The total thickness of the board is 4mm. After slotting, the thickness should be kept at 0.2-0.3mm, and all the rest should be shaved off, just enough to fold 90 degrees without peeling or cracking.

4、 Two commonly used tool styles

1. Desktop CNC slotting machine: for factory batch use, with high precision, straight lines, suitable for large-scale cutting.

2. Handheld edge trimming machine+ruler: commonly used on construction sites, equipped with 90 ° V-shaped cutting tools, the ruler is stuck and travels in a straight line.

5、 Steps for adjusting and testing knives

1. First, adjust the depth of the waste aluminum-plastic panel;

2. First, make a trial incision after adjustment;

3. Bend and test: If there is no cracking, no rebound, and the angle is straight, it is considered to be adjusted, and then batch cutting can be carried out.

6、 After opening the groove and bending it into shape

Gently fold along the V-groove by 90 degrees, with the groove facing outward, fold slowly at a constant speed, and do not forcefully break; In winter, warm the board slightly before folding to prevent it from cracking.
